@Factsaboutkp At least Madonna has the top song on the playlist. But still what other hit does she have except Die On A Hill? I mean I love the song but that song didn’t even make it to top 10.
@davirosesebert@MChello123@WitnessQi It’s like no one talks about P!nk anymore, yet when she does her stadium tours and doing her flips and cartwheels in the air (I tried to be kinda funny lol) everyone be talking bout her.
@davirosesebert@MChello123@WitnessQi Fr fr. Like I love P!nk so much. Did her singles deserve to debut a tiny bit higher on the charts, maybe. But like I said two singles debuted on the hot 100 regardless and her album went #2. Almost 80k first week with almost 60k in pure sales. That says a lot!
@KangGustii@chartdata@katyperry One more thing lol She said witness was I can see you and you can see me. I just think the album is a live arch of a relationship. You find someone you love, you have your sexy time, the partner hurts you, you break up, miss them, and want them back
@MChello123@WitnessQi And what does she have left prove something. Her career spans 25 years in the industry. She’s 46 it’s ok for her to decline a little bit. Majority of the money comes from stadium tours anyways
@MChello123@WitnessQi 64k yes but beautiful trauma slipped only to #3. And remember P!nk IS NOT a streaming girlie. She debuted in 1999. She’s a sales girlie.
@15Catboy@WitnessQi Trustfall was a decent album too I thoroughly enjoyed Trustfall and Runaway. Mind you 78k with 59k first week and she’s 43!!! People are still tuned into her a little bit!
@MChello123@WitnessQi But beautiful trauma sold 408k first week with 384k pure sales. That’s pretty hefty for her. Have you listened to Trustfall. Sure it’s a dance pop album but it’s pretty decent. Still has her signature meaningful lyrics.
@KangGustii@chartdata@katyperry But Witness was never a flop album wise per se. Even though it didn’t last super super long and the singles didn’t chart well as much as they got the views and streams. For me it was just the antics she did. Why try to be relevant in a time you were still pretty relevant.
@chartdata@katyperry Objectively, it wasn't a flop:
Debuted at #1 on the Billboard 200.
Sold around 180k equivalent units in its first week in the US.
Eventually sold over a million copies worldwide.
The issue was expectations.
@dk240xx@lg_chart I agree but at the same time from Joanne to Chromatica was almost 4 years (even though she had A Star Is Born) and from Chromatica to Mayhem is about 4 years also. I’m hungry for Mother Monster!!!
I know katy sings TOTGA og version today but I really want to hear her singing ghost’s og version because acoustic one really breaks og songs instrumental vibe and this version is much better 😭 GP needs to discover this masterpiece!!
@nasaratis But I don’t think at the time it fit the Revival album. Iggy could change the lyrics to make it her song. Also wonder if Charli XCX wrote it too. The “ooooohh” almost sounds like Same Old Loves “oooohhh” and Charli wrote that song for Selena
@lukehemerly Witness was a good album but for me it was just the antics for me was unnecessary. Smile was a pretty good album but she waited to long to release. 143 was a good album but it’s not her best body of work. Im His He’s Mine the only song I really listen to sometimes Truth
@kaxishk I haven’t listened to Lizzos new album because it flopped and might sound trash. Yet he talks trash about Katy? I’m sorry, 143 is Katy’s weaker album but it’s 100x better that Lizzos B**** ass album 😡😡😡
