@jacoposimonetta@MarcoFattorini@qnazionale Legare mani e piedi qualcuno e lasciarlo a terra è tortura.
@F4JSU Install and connect flrig to the radio, then you can send commands to flrig by xmlrpc. I developed a python app to implement some automation, it works. You just need an xmlrpc library on the programming language you want use.
M17 is a digital radio protocol for data/voice. I have integrated the capability to transmit text, prepared by an encoder - using rpitx, receive it using GNU Radio, and decode it using a decoder created by SP5WWP.

Sometimes you have to develop a tool to develop a device. Double/single tone generator for testing and setup SSB TX. ATTINY85 HT9200 TL072 some 0805 SMD on a prototype board and a pinch of code. https://t.co/jSIq26a8v0
Gain voltage vs gain change. Jumping from 2V to 10V the gain range is 2.5db. Measuring from 0V to 2V the gain range is wider but the noise figure gets too worse therefore, I don't consider those relevant data.
Weekend project 20m SSB RTX. Experimenting with a 20m antenna preamp with #smd dual gate mosfet BF998, it looks good. It would be nice to measure the noise figure, do you know some homebrew/cheap way to measure it?
20m antenna preamp. After some tweaks, I'm happy with the output impedance. This preamp will be connected to a NE602 that require 1500 ohm.The toroid on the right is needed only to scale the impedance 53.7 times (22:3T) to better adapt the values to the NanoVNA.
@mgraino Thank you! The circuit is based on this project https://t.co/IQggnepi4d I developed a VFO based on Arduino+SI5351 implementing few CAT commands of the TS-480 so I can use Omni-Rig compatible SW to control the VFO and PTT.
Sunday project in progress: homebrew SDR for PC soundcard. RX part is complete but the first test was KO, let's debug. The 30m-20m filter is ok. #NanoVNA#sdr#homebrew#diy
