in @PunchbowlNews PM:
A few details from Monday’s White House meeting:
— President Donald Trump gave Schumer and House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries “Trump 2028” hats. The two men did not take the caps. Jeffries then turned to Vice President JD Vance and asked how he feels about that — a reference to Vance’s possible presidential ambitions. Vance said, “No comment,” and the room erupted in laughter.
— Trump walked the leaders outside to the newly-installed wall of former presidents, which includes an autopen photo in place of former President Joe Biden. Trump asked the leaders if they liked it.

A Black professor had his house appraised.
The value: $472,000.
Then he removed indications of Blackness from his home, including family photos.
He had a white colleague — another Johns Hopkins professor — stand in.
The second appraisal: $750,000.

So well said, Pete. Thank you.
