Trail users should use the alternate gravel route north of the hotel and NOT attempt to get by the closure. Please reach out if you feel you need more detailed detour instructions.
#DLTrail Notice: Bride Closure at MM24 near River House at Odette's. Please note this is a trail access closure - not a trail closure - and does not prevent continuous travel on the D&L Trail. See below.

A campaign launched Monday by @DLNHC aims to close the 30 miles of remaining gaps on the Delaware & Lehigh Trail, as well as improve area water quality. https://t.co/gHHAyZGIRn
Apart from its natural beauty, recreation and history, the five-county Corridor of the DLNHC is a part of critical watersheds that feed into lakes, rivers and streams.
These waterways can be impacted by development, natural erosion, and severe weather events. But DLNHC and partners are working to improve our watershed through conservation, community planning, and environmental restoration.
@RiverSwami For concerns like these, we recommend reaching out to the local landowners, Delaware Canal State Park, and municipalities to discuss concerns & enhancements you'd like to see within the region. If you'd like to send further details, we'll be sure to pass it along as well.
We will continue to update both our social media and interactive webmap as we receive new information. Please feel free to reach out if you have any questions or concerns during this time.
