Howard, the reflecting pool looks great. I’m sure the tourists visiting Washington appreciate it.
The problem is that about half of Americans will never visit Washington, D.C. in their lifetime. What every American does experience is the economy.
They experience it when they buy groceries. They experience it when they fill up their gas tank. They experience it when they pay their rent or mortgage, open a healthcare bill, pay an insurance premium, or swipe a credit card because their paycheck didn’t make it to the end of the month.
While Washington celebrates cosmetic projects and photo opportunities, millions of Americans are dealing with inflation at its highest level in three years. They’re watching the cost of food, housing, healthcare, insurance, and energy consume a larger share of their income every month.
Politicians call it an “affordability crisis.” That’s a polite way of saying people are skipping meals, delaying medical care, putting off prescriptions, postponing childcare, and carrying balances on credit cards charging nearly 30% interest just to get by.
So yes, the reflecting pool looks nice. But Americans can’t eat the reflecting pool, pay their electric bill with the reflecting pool, or fill their prescriptions with the reflecting pool. Most people would gladly trade a prettier view in Washington for lower prices at home.
(🚨) MAJOR BREAKING NEWS: Over the past year, my 850-page Trump-Epstein Scandal epic PROOF OF DEVILRY—whose chapters get released as I have material to release—established that Trump took charge of hosting parties where girls were trafficked.
24 hours ago this bombshell dropped:
@moshik_temkin@OvereducatedFem Clutching pearls and expressing concern for Platner’s accused misdeeds while fully supporting an accused sex offender, grab em by the pussy, name in Epstein files, cheated on wife 1 with wife 2 and cheated on wife 2 with wife 3, fraudster….fuck you Collins
Republicans are trying to eliminate a $315 million preschool grant while making room for a $1.5 trillion defense budget.
They say we can't afford child care, but somehow there's always money for war.
That's a choice.
Has Trump given up on his Noble (his spelling) Peace prize? I mean, if he settles this war, it really should go to him. After all, it will be the 36th war he has settled, right? (Psstt…let’s look past the fact that he started it)
Susan Collin’s clutching her pearls while talking about allegations against Platner and saying it was horrible. Has this dumbass (with a B) forgotten her support for Trump and all his sex accusation baggage? Like the two aren’t even close. It’s fucking laughable and sad.
James Carville: “Right now we’ve got to win and we’ve got to win everywhere because the worst Democrat is 100x better than the best Republican. That’s just a fact. We’re not looking for perfection, we’re just looking to stop this son of a bitch from taking the whole country down”
Roy Cohn taught Donald Trump three rules:
1. Never admit when you're wrong
2. Never concede defeat when you lose
3. Attack anyone who attacks you even when you're wrong.
50 years later - in 2026 America - we are living under the insanity and tyranny of those three rules.
