During my time as a law enforcement officer I ran into this issue repeatedly in both state and federal jurisdictions. To say the least it was frustrating to get the prosecutor’s office to file charges. Why? The reasons are numerous. It boils down to lazy lawyers, too many cases and not enough people for the work involved, poor investigations and a lack of appropriate reporting and collection of evidence, and a judicial system that is skewed against law enforcement or partisan. It’s sad and unfortunate and nothing is being done to correct it.
@MrAndyNgo How many times? People have voted in the stupidest politicians. You cannot let these people create these illegal encampments. They are lawless and always end like this.
There are plenty of other places to get recycling money. The businesses in that area have suffered greatly because of that place. Have you even been to Dellta Park recently? It’s sketchy at best, no one wants to go there anymore because it has become a haven for drug users and crazies
@KATUNews This headline is ridiculous, the guy committed suicide. He chose death and it was his choice. You try to make it sound like it was accidental or caused by the officers. Stop the spin game
@KATUNews Weak and petty, the leadership in these states are pathetic mismanagers, this isn’t about cost. It’s about hating what America really stands for. So sad
Having been to Haiti and seeing the poverty and difficulties those people face this corruption and fraud is tragic. Instead of helping people and stabilizing their economy, they stole the funds and allowed gangs and thugs control Haitian citizens, ultimately contributing to peoples deaths. Tragic
