Marshall will wear these uniforms tomorrow in honor of the 50th anniversary of the plane crash that killed 75 people within the football program.

@DrBradJohnson Thank you! Doing virtual, preparing for them to come back in person on the 12th and keeping my own 5th Grader straight has been overwhelming to say the least!
Kirk Cousins on the @KyleBrandt podcast says on Covid โIf I die, I dieโ. The rest of today will be filled w media members telling Cousins how dumb/wrong/selfish he is. Or maybe, I donโt know, being regularly tackled by men that bench 425 pounds changes how you view survival.
When seeing educators doing amazing things online-sometimes rather than celebrate their success we get wrapped up in professional jealousy (PJ). PJ is a real thing and it drags you down & stresses you out. Guard your heart. Celebrate the talents of others, as well as your own.
Iโve heard of too many teachers quitting or retiring early right now. These are the same teachers who put in countless hours & work weekends through out the year, so we know their commitment level is high. Schools listen to your staff, their fatigue, pain, & needs. Help them.
Teachers, don't feel bad if you don't have special videos or lessons online like others may have. This isn't America's got talent or a competition. Just con't to check on your students & families & do your best to meet their educational needs. That's all that matters.
Weโre ending week 4 or 5 for many. Districts I hope you are checking in on teachers & reassessing their workloads & stress. Some may think it gets easier but NO it only gets harder & the stress builds. Iโm truly worried for many of my teacher friends. Take care of yourselves
What we donโt need in crisis:
* districts to show off how much they can accomplish in two weeks
* expect teachers to give normalcy to epidemic
* for teachers to spend more time working from home than the long hours they normally do
* more stress on kids/ parents/ teachers
Schools, remember added stress, especially when people are already stressed, only suppresses our immune systems even more. Families are worried about food, paychecks, sickness, etc. This is one of those times where less is more and simply surviving is good enough.
