Please do not water your home to prevent fires. There is a risk of running out of water that will hinder firefighting efforts. #alert#ClackamasWildfires@clackamasfire

Please open our pools for our swim teams! 2 months with no in water training has been hard on our kids. Lap swimming is not the same has open swim. The CDC says chlorine kills covid. #whygymsbutnotpools
@OregonGovBrown dear governor Kate Brown, please reopen the pools. Swimming has not only helped me get through toxic situations, but it has carried me through all other obstacles I’ve accomplished. Please reopen.

#whygymsbutnotpools@OregonGovBrown@nataliehawwa. Please open pools to lap and competitive swimming! Social distancing can be maintained. Healthy and happy hearts and souls 🙂
Chlorinated pools are known for killing Covid-19. W/ proper social distancing, swimming is one of the safest sports. Competitive pools have a much better system to ensure social distancing during lap swim than gyms & most sports. @OregonGovBrown@nataliehawwa#whygymsbutnotpools
@OregonGovBrown@nataliehawwa Having access to swimming areas with trained lifeguards and access to swim lessons plays a giant part in preventing deaths every year. This summer I fear for the safety of swimmers far more than I’ve ever had to in the past. #whygymsbutnotpools
@OregonGovBrown@nataliehawwa Please let our competitive swimmers get back in the pool in phase one. This can be done safely with social distancing measures in place and is not the same as recreational swimming and pool parties. #whygymsbutnotpools
@OregonGovBrown Please open our pools for lap and team swimming. Competitive swimming is controllable and our swim teams have a system in place to ensure social distancing during training. Thank you for keeping Oregon safe. #whygymsbutnotpools
