L’imprescriptibilité des crimes sexuels commis sur des mineurs vient d’être adoptée par amendement dans le cadre de l’examen du projet de loi relatif à la protection de l’enfance.

Le Gouvernement a fait un choix clair : soutenir cette avancée. C’est un moment important. Et tout sera mis en œuvre pour la sécuriser juridiquement, y compris en saisissant le Conseil d’État si nécessaire.

La rapporteure LFI a expliqué qu’une telle réforme ne devrait pas être adoptée par amendement mais dans un autre texte. Après dix ans de débats, il est difficile de dire aux victimes qu’il faudrait encore attendre pour des raisons de procédure.

Le vote solennel sur le projet de loi aura lieu la semaine prochaine. J’espère que chacun sera au rendez-vous de ses responsabilités.
