Life Update:

We got some bad news yesterday, and a big problem. As a lot of you know my fiancé is trying to move to the UK and ever since Brexit this is a lot harder.

My fiancé’s visa was rejected yesterday. This sucks obviously. I had my spiral and sob yesterday. So today is about solving the issue. I got some clarification from a lawyer today, so unless you are an UK/EU immigration lawyer or dealt with immigrating to the UK. Please don’t reply with advice on this. I appreciate it, but we got this.

Why was it rejected? There was a misunderstanding on requirements. The process is long, covers multiple types of visas and the language used sounded like 2 things did not apply to our application. Turns out they did, so they rejected us with no appeal. So we have to reapply instead. Which we can do.

The Problem. We are basically out of money. They refunded the Health Care fee which is half the cost for a new application. Basically, we need another £2.5k to apply again. The Subathon was meant to fund this, I always wanted to make sure I worked hard enough for my money and feel disappointed that we got here.
