@usmcIndia@Mothermary0012 Luke 1:35The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of the most High shall overshadow thee. And therefore also the Holy which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God.
38And Mary said: Behold the handmaid of the Lord; be it done to me according to thy word.
@usmcIndia@Mothermary0012 Are babies sinless?
Romans 9:11 11 Yet, before the twins were born or had done anything good or bad—in order that God’s purpose in election might stand:
@SoliDeoGloria_X Psalm 14:5"for God is in the generation of the righteous (dikaia)".
I think you are sinning now by bearing false witness agaist the Mother of your King.
@SoliDeoGloria_X Psalm 14 ends with a yearning for the Incarnation.
Psalm 14:7 Oh that the salvation of Israel were come out of Zion(Luke 1:38,Luke 2:11) when the LORD bringeth back the captivity of his people(Luke 1:68), Jacob shall rejoice(Luke 1;67-79) and Israel(Luke 1:46-55) shall be glad.
@SoliDeoGloria_X John describes the Incarnation.
John 1:14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt(tabernacled/Greek skéné) among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.
@SoliDeoGloria_X Luke 1:35 The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow(episkiasei) thee: therefore also that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God.
@SoliDeoGloria_X Exodus 40:35...because the cloud rested above it(epeskíazen/overshadow)(Luke 1:35), and the glory of the LORD filled the tabernacle(skene).(John 1:14)
The Greek OT uses the same words for overshadow and tabernacle that is used for Mary in the NT Greek.
@SoliDeoGloria_X Exodus 40:34 The cloud covered the tabernacle of the testimony, and the glory of the Lord filled it.(Luke 1:35/John 1:14)35 And Moses was not able to enter the tabernacle of meeting, because the cloud rested above it(epeskíazen/overshadow)(Luke 1:35)...
@SoliDeoGloria_X Mary never did. What Gabriel called her "Kecharitomene", means her grace/favor was a completed act in the past. Gabriel tells her The Holy Ghost would "overshadow" her. That's the language of the Temple and Ark in the Greek OT in Exodus 40:34-35..
@SoliDeoGloria_X That Psalm tells us:
Psalm 14:5"for God is in the generation of the righteous (dikaia)". Coincidentally, Mathew 1:19 Her husband Joseph, being a righteous(dikaios) man....
@SoliDeoGloria_X "Romans 3:23 "for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God" is restating Romans 3:10 "As it is written:“There is no one righteous(dikaios) not even one".The "as it was written" is referencing Psalm 14:3"there is no one who does good, not even one....
@iamnotfamous29@Xtopher_Uzo@Cath_SteelMan Psalm 132(131 DRB)Arise, O Lord, into thy resting place: thou(Rev 12:5) and the ark(Rev 12:14), which thou hast sanctified.
