#USMNT had a good run but when it got serious, they couldn’t deliver (again). Pulisic did not have a good tournament. Love Alex Freeman. Chris Richards has become the most important player on this team. Curious where this group goes from here

[Dustin Lyfoung @DLyfoung]

This #USMNT needs to dig and fight in this second half after an extremely poor first half. Win or lose, go down swinging.

We need Abercrombie & Fitch Racing Haas Team and Old Navy Racing Cadillac Team on the grid ASAP.

Soccer journalism in the USA, and specifically for MLS, is better because of Matt Doyle. I wanted to be a better fan because of his work at https://t.co/fTu7Ln1eDu. IMHO, nobody does it better when it comes to tactical analysis of the game on this continent. Please support him!

Fifteen years ago, I got my dream job writing for MLSsoccer. Last week, that came to an end.

I'm off on my own, and it's time to build something new – with a little help from all of you.

@WesHod Love it!

[Dustin Lyfoung @DLyfoung]

I know the Tifosi love him and he’s become somewhat synonymous with Ferrari but I think Charles Leclerc needs a change in scenery and a new challenge. He’s clearly a top tier driver worthy of a WDC. I’m just not sure if it’s ever going to happen with Ferrari. #SpanishGP

I was never a "Heath Out" person. He seems like a fine man-manager and overall decent person. The problem is that it didn't look like there was going to be any improvement moving forward with him. I wish him the best but this is the right decision #MNUFC

[Tom Bogert @tombogert]

BREAKING: Minnesota United has parted ways with long-time head coach Adrian Heath and technical director Mark Watson.

Heath and Watson had been with MNUFC since inaugural 2017 season. Made the playoffs last four years.

In her prime, arguably the most feared defender in the game. Teams would gameplan to neutralize her specifically & she came out on top more often than not. A role model for kids in the game. Congrats to Julie Ertz on a great career!

Beautiful story centered on someone I am honored to call a friend and the godfather of one of my kids. One of those "is someone cutting onions around here?" pieces, this is about love and how, if you truly want it to, it can always endure. #LGBTQ #asian https://t.co/ey2kkJhKzO

Devastated by news of the passing of @GrantWahl. You could argue he was one of the golden standards of soccer journalism in the United States. For both men and women. I became a better soccer observer because of him. The American soccer community lost a legend. #RIPGrant

Like many others have said already, such a strange feeling to have a World Cup during winter in the United States. Hot take: it adds even more beauty to the holiday season. Fills me with joy to be able to watch World Cup soccer during this time. Go USA! #USA #FIFAWorldCup2022

@CHEEEZZHEAD Are you at the game?!

[Dustin Lyfoung @DLyfoung]

At least not at the top professional level

[Dustin Lyfoung @DLyfoung]

Assistant coaches usually provide a relief from the head coach for players. These guys are crucial to the team and the team chemistry. Oftentimes, these guys are also not good head coaches. They know their role. This #PHIvDC game is showing why Chad Ashton isn’t a head coach.

[Dustin Lyfoung @DLyfoung]

I’m a Loons fan. I have never been a “Heath Out” stan. I actually think he is a “slightly” above average MLS manager. But with this #MNUFC team, we have seen both floor & ceiling with him at the helm over 5 years. I think it’s fair to at least entertain thinking about a change.
