The CCGS Naalak Nappaaluk, a @CoastGuardCAN’s vessel, is a powerful symbol of reconciliation as it was named in honour of Inuk Elder Naalak Nappaaluk, from Kangiqsujuaq, Nunavik, who was committed to protecting and promoting Inuit language and culture.

The Summer Solstice, which takes place on June 21, holds a profound spiritual significance for us, First Nations, Inuit and Métis Peoples. It marks a time of renewal, connection, and celebration. This is why we celebrate the National Indigenous History Month in June.

1/2 Today, @PSPC_SPAC held a bidders’ conference in Fort Nelson, British Columbia. The event, organized for qualified First Nations suppliers under a Limited Indigenous Offer set-aside process, focused on the Liard River Road Realignment Project.
