"For games, we don’t really have acting.”
It's disappointing to see video game performances still dismissed as less than legitimate. The traditional gatekeepers—agents, casting directors, and producers—continue to undervalue our craft.
Despite being in one of next year’s most anticipated games, I still can’t land an agent. If this were a film, with the same level of hype, this would be a different story.
The industry is out of touch and needs to listen to audiences. I've received more love and appreciation for my work in games than any other acting role.
But with organizations like @BAFTAGames and @thegameawards recognizing the artistry of video game performances, i trust this nonsense stops eventually.
