In honor of National Apprenticeship Week, I wanted to share Kenyona, who, during my State of the City Address, shared how @JobsBaltimore_ was able to connect her to a real opportunity and put her on a pathway to a strong career.
Her story is exactly why we continue to invest in apprenticeship programs.
If you’re ready to start your own path into an apprenticeship, @JobsBaltimore_ is here to help. Learn more, https://t.co/aBQnYEb4yW.
Kenyona says her life was transformed through her participation in Raising the Bar — our free six-week pre-apprenticeship program run in partnership with the Construction Trades Workforce Initiative. She is currently an apprentice with IBEW Local Union 24.
