Your soulmate it whoever you put your energy into. It’s whoever you learn to compromise with. It’s whoever allows you to feel safe and accepted as you are. It’s who reminds you that you’re greater than your circumstance. Soulmates are the result of work.
For every pain you endure,
For every fear that grips your heart,
For every worry that keeps you awake,
For every loss that you grieve over,
For anything & everything that you can’t handle,
Leave it to the Lord of the Worlds.
He’s the best disposer of our affairs.
And when you pray tonight…pray for the ability to stay calm and react less. Some people will trigger you behind closed doors knowing very well that your reaction will be public. People will only see your reaction and not what triggered it then judge. No matter what, stay calm.
Introverts don't revenge, they disappear. They feel too much. Talking about it only makes it worse. So they just leave. To feel it. To think about it. To process it. To make sense of it. To make themselves believe that it's over. And to heal their own heart in silence.
Raise your glass and drink to you. This year showed you the worst life can offer and yet here you are. Yes, you... Still standing. Still fighting the good fight. Pause and take a sip and rejoice. You've done well. Here's to a better year 🥂
And when you pray tonight…pray to rebuke the spirit of seeking approval from others. You will find yourself moving with the wrong crowds. Nothing good comes out of doing things just to fit in. Let them call you names and conclude that you’re boring. Always be yourself.
Normalize not forcing people to choose you. Know your worth and what you have to offer, and never settle for anything less than you deserve. If somebody doesn't see the value in having you by their side, don’t try to convince them.
Don't dim your light or change yourself to be accepted. You will lose everytime you shrink to accommodate others. It's not your responsibility to bend so others can stand tall. Show up as your authentic self to attract the right opportunities and people into your life.
"When I said, “My foot is slipping,” your unfailing love, Lord, supported me. When anxiety was great within me, your consolation brought me joy." (Psalm 94:18-19)
Always remember you can grow without destroying others . Your dreams can be fulfilled without sabotaging other people . Nobody must go down for you to rise !
