This is so sad. It is frustrating, we know our own bodies, if something isn’t right keep going back, keep getting second opinions, or third, get more than one set of eyes to look at the symptoms. I feel there are still disparities when it comes to female health.
@BasilTheGreat@M_campbellphoto Where in this video is the RNLI boat? The government funding to the RNLI is for the Lifeguard Service on the beaches and of the people who crossed the channel and needed assistance, the RNLI assisted about 3%. Other agencies assisted the other 97%
@Anmaidrinrua@StephenNolan@gordonlyons1@BBCiPlayer It sounds like medical retirement. Which means he would receive a smaller pension than if he continued in his job. It is not unusual for a member of the emergency services to retire from their job then find employment elsewhere and still have access to their pension.
@EastEnglandAmb Lovely photo, Merry Christmas🎄 . Is thats a stray set of NIAS paramedic epaulettes on the jacket (Chloe’s)? 😁 Haven’t seen a yellow stripe on any other service’s paramedic epaulettes (except LAS thin NQP stripe). It is a handy addition as you can spot the grade from a distance
@benmalone31 Cool, so you would be able to do a sort of ‘top-up’ course alongside length of service to get yourself registered as an Advanced Paramedic? Its something Ive wondered about.
