My plans for PlayStation:
- Purchase physical games I want until they stop making them
- Continue to not pay for PS Plus
- Skipping PS6 if no disc drive
- Buy all third party games on Switch 2 and PC after 2028. Third parties are more committed to multi-platform these days.

More news about the Disc situation with Playstation:

- Sony knew they would piss off fans and decided to step over them to show who decides the rules
- They sent out the most strict rules they possibly can to employees
- Employees are not allowed to adress fans no matter how they feel. There are serious consequences
- Sony won't back down no matter how many fans they lose

More reports why Sony is trying to end physical discs:

- They want to cut out the middle man, to make more profit per sale (like remove walmart cuts etc)
- Sony thinks the fanbase will not switch platforms, they can do what they please without losing fans
- They are convinced by ignoring this issue, they fans will just accept the changes and convert to 100% digital with time.
- Sony thinks they are "too big to have commination with fans". Talking to fans has no margin benefit, so they refuse to address fans and will keep doing so

I have lost all trust and goodwill with PlayStation, no words what is happening right now. Horrible company
