The Redesign Is Live
For the first time in a while, we're rolling out a fully updated look for the marketplace. Some of you have already seen it during the beta β for everyone else, today's the day.
We've refreshed the color palette, reworked most of the interface, simplified and improved how information is presented on product cards, and added customization options β along with a lot of smaller improvements across the board.
The core UX stays the same β we didn't want to break the flows and habits you've built up on the marketplace. Just cleaner, not different.
Hey, thanks for flagging this. That's a wording mistake on our side, and sorry for the confusion it caused.
The actual requirement is at least 10 referred users, each of whom has made at least one trade, not every single referred user. That's how the rule has always worked, and once you have 10 active referrals, you'll be able to claim your earnings.
We've already passed this to our product team, and the text will be fixed soon. Plenty of affiliates have been claiming their earnings under this rule for years.
P2P is back
This one's been a long time coming. Peer to peer is coming back to DMarket. From today, you can buy and sell CS2 items directly with other users β no bots involved.
How it works
Listings on the marketplace are now split into two types β bot trading and P2P. Use the filters to choose which type you want to buy from, or how you want to list your item for sale.
To sell via P2P, you'll need our browser extension installed. We recommend buyers grab it too β it makes the whole flow more stable.

What's not there yet
- Targets don't support P2P listings
- API access for P2P is coming, but not available right now
A word on Steam reverts
More parties in a trade means more chances for someone to revert. We get it β and we're not ignoring it. A penalty system is in the works, along with a way to compensate whoever gets burned by a revert. We'll share details as soon as it's ready.
This is a beta.
Bugs will happen. UX won't be perfect. We're moving fast β the best thing you can do right now is use it and tell us what's broken or what's missing. Drop everything to our Discord.Β

I'm sorry to hear this and I apologize for the experience.
Unfortunately I don't have any details about your account or the timeline of what happened, but I want to assure you that we do not use KYC as a tool to harm users, block their accounts, or take ownership of their funds.
KYC is a regulatory requirement that we are obligated to follow in order to legally operate in the countries where we do business, and to maintain access to all the financial infrastructure we currently offer.
If your account was banned, it was not because you declined KYC β it would only be due to a serious violation of our Terms of Use that you agreed to when you started trading on the platform. Failing KYC cannot be a reason for a ban.
That said, we fully acknowledge that the KYC process was more difficult than we wanted it to be for a long time. Over the past six months we have taken significant steps to improve it β for most countries we have moved to an automated system from a new
provider, which has reduced verification time to just a few minutes and significantly reduced the rejection rate.
We never block users without reason, and we never take ownership of their funds or items. If an account has been restricted, it is only due to a serious violation of the platform's Terms of Use that the user agreed to when they started trading.
We never fully restrict accounts for failing KYC/EDD, and we never freeze assets for that reason. In most cases, even when a serious violation occurs, the user is given time to withdraw all of their assets from their DMarket account.
Regarding Russian accounts β all of these accounts have been frozen since 2022. They have not been confiscated, deleted, or affected by our inactivity policy.

@phrog_gaming It seems that you've had an account that's why you got this email. Maybe you haven't used it for a while. But the email was wrong about the ban. I'm sorry about it. Here is the explanation.

Hi there. We sincerely apologize for the confusion β the wrong email was sent to a group of users, and we want to clarify what actually happened.
Over the past 180 days, we have been notifying users about our inactive account policy. Accounts that have shown no activity for recent years are being suspended. Throughout this process, we sent monthly reminders, followed by weekly reminders in the final weeks β all users had the opportunity to keep their account active simply by logging in at least once.
If you received an email mentioning a "violation" or "fraudulent activity" β please disregard it. That email was sent by mistake and does not apply to your account. The correct communication is about inactivity only.
Here is what you need to know:
Your account has been suspended due to prolonged inactivity. You have 90 days to request reactivation by contacting our support team at https://t.co/UEGhxQtkBW
After 90 days, accounts with no reactivation request will be permanently deleted.
We apologize for the alarm this may have caused. If you have any questions, please reach out to our support team directly.
