@AdeByrne You can turn on Fediverse in your Threads account. Try following me on Mastadon at
@dmc[email protected]
Currently only Threads -> Mastadon but should be bidirectional by year end. Early days but promising. Interop is the future.
This place is becoming a bit of a cesspit, it's a fish rotting from the head.
I'm on LinkedIn and going to give Threads a go.
Give me a follow if you are on there.

@AdeByrne Federation is the answer. Starting off with Threads as there is more content (I like bluesky but not much there yet). Twitter is just awful now. Hoping the Fediverse works out and I'll jump to one of the open source/decentralised alternatives and link.yo threads.
@GaryMcAllister Agree it could be better architected. I'm guessing though the PEP funding letter isn't for Mental Health? We weren't included in previous funding....
Loads of exciting things in the King's Speech today, but this one particularly caught my eye.
Hopefully it will mean an end to the lack of parity of esteem and funding we've seen lately.
(On the digital front, only funding acute EPRs to use the NHS app is a stark example)
Congratulations to Gary O’Hare, who has been recognised in the King’s birthday honours list with an MBE for services to mental health and disabilities in the NHS 👏
Gary was CNTW’s Executive Director of Nursing and Operations for many years, until retiring last year.
It is a real privilege to be part of such an impressive list! Uktech50 2024: The longlist of the UK’s influential tech leaders https://t.co/qYrqgsup8E via @computerweekly
@medConfidential There's a link to a backup which is showing a holding page...looks like it starts at 1500. Took some finding though!!

If this is true it's unbelievable, being handed a contract for cyber security whilst withholding details of being hacked. Hope the @ICOnews take this into account.
When are we going to stop handing gov contracts to dishonest firms?
