I have no confidence in this Government. I have never had any.
With the announcement that one Minister is resigning it is clear that the rest of this failing Government should go with him!
🚨 Sinn Féin's motion of no confidence in the Fianna Fáil and Fine Gael government will be voted on tomorrow in the Dáil.
We encourage everyone to contact their TDs and ask them to vote no confidence in the government.
This government isn't listening. They still haven’t taken the necessary steps to make fuel affordable at the pumps and did nothing on home heating oil despite it hitting the highest prices on record. Working people are left behind again.
We will keep fighting your corner until you and your family get what you deserve - real leadership and real support.
Despite a cost-of-living crisis that continues to squeeze households, the Government have confirmed the reintroduction of Junior and Leaving Certificate examination fees for 2026.
Families will once again have to pay €116 per Leaving Certificate candidate and €109 per Junior Cycle candidate. This is going to hit families hard, many of whom are already struggling to keep pace with energy bills, rising rents and mortgage costs.
Sinn Féin has consistently argued that education must be free and accessible to all. We are calling on the Minister to reverse this decision immediately.
⛽️📈 Fine Gael and Fianna Fáil have been dithering for weeks now as fuel prices soar.
They need to reduce Excise Duty on home heating oil, petrol and diesel, and NOT bring in their planned Carbon Tax increase on 1st May
Workers and families need a break
While government has backed down for now on its SNA cuts plan, we need to keep the pressure on!
SNAs deserve respect for the incredibly important job they do, and students and schools deserve the supports and resources to ensure every child reaches their full potential!
🏘️ How much longer are Fine Gael and Fianna Fáil going to allow these faceless vulture funds to out compete and rip-off hardworking families?
It’s time to ban these funds from buying-up family homes once and for all
🛑 Stop SNA cuts! A pause to the Fianna Fáil-Fine Gael plan for widespread SNA cuts is not good enough. Micheál Martin saying “schools are well used to appealing” is insulting. Devastating for children with special education needs. Parents racked with worry. Schools left with real uncertainty. The only thing they need to hear from the Taoiseach is that this cruel plan will be completely scrapped.
🚨Outside the Dáil tonight as we attempt to stop the Government’s Rent Hike Bill
Families and workers simply cannot afford the massive hike in rents that Fianna Fáil, Fine Gael and the Lowry Independents are bringing in!
It is incredibly important that Guardian ad Litems (GALs) can be the voice of a child in court proceedings without any fear of repercussions in terms of their job
The decision to place both GALs and Tusla under the same Minister raises concerns which must be addressed
Uisce Éireann crews are on site and working to repair a burst pipe in Fairview. The above areas may experience water outages and other areas may have reduced water pressure.

Raising the plight of Northside Home Care workers with the Taoiseach today.
Instead of threatening their jobs the HSE should be engaging with them and their union to find a solution.
Equal pay for equal work!
On the picket lines with the Northside Home Care workers in Coolock today. It’s been one week since the beginning of the strike
They deserve equal pay for equal work!
This means they never got the pay increases that other Section 39 workers received despite doing the exact same job.
The Health Minister and the HSE need to sort this out now, engage with the workers and their union representatives, and ensure their work is valued. (2/2)
🪧Supporting the Northside Home Care workers who were out on the picket in the lashing rain today.
These workers do hugely important work caring for some of the most vulnerable in our community but were excluded from the recent pay deal when they were reclassified (1/2)
Once again, government is refusing to act on the growing problem of nitrous oxide in our communities, despite Sinn Féin bringing forward practical, common sense legislation this evening.
Nitrous Oxide is having long term impacts on the health of young people and needs to be regulated. The government must back this important legislation.
🔬🧑🔬Wow! Absolutely delighted to see so many Dublin Bay North schools represented at the Young Scientist & Technology Exhibition

Nollaig Shona! 🎄🎅
I want to wish you a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year from all of us here in Dublin Bay North Sinn Féin
Stay safe and enjoy the break
The Government’s decision to stop funding blister packs for medications is not only cruel in the middle of a cost of living crisis, it poses a serious danger to the health of vulnerable patients.
A pause on these charges isn’t good enough, they should be scrapped entirely.
Watch this! Mary Lou hits the nail on the head. A do-nothing government whose first year has been defined by failure scandal and broken promises. The worst government ever!
