🚨 WE EXPOSED IT FIRST.
While the system slept, we were already in the lab.
Months ago between January& April, we started testing medicines that Kenyans take every day, Postinor, amoxicillin, blood pressure tablets. The packaging looked perfect. The tablets looked real. But when we ran the HPTLC screening, the results hit different.
Red flags everywhere.
We didn’t stay quiet. In March, we went public. We named the drugs. We warned that counterfeit medicine is one of the biggest silent killers in Kenya right now. We begged KEMSA and the authorities to wake up.
Many ignored us. Some mocked us even as we did fundraisers to expand testing. A few supported us quietly.
Today, the Ministry of Health and Pharmacy and Poisons Board finally dropped the official alert:
Fake Postinor-2, batch T34197R, is flooding the market. The exact kind of product our early tests had already flagged.
Two people arrested. Investigation ongoing.
They confirmed what we raised first.
This is not luck. This is what happens when ordinary people refuse to look away. ( i have attached the letter in replies)
We tested when no one was watching.
We spoke when it was uncomfortable.
We forced the system to move.
Fake medicine doesn’t just steal money - it steals lives, futures, and trust.
We are not done. More tests are coming. More truth is coming.
If you believe Kenyans deserve real medicine, and that those who risk speaking first should never stand alone… Speak up, support through our link or till number.. & share the alert with other Kenyans, let's force govt to act
Let them know the people are watching.
We’re just getting started.

Kenyans invented running™
In 1977, a husband told a court his wife was too strong to control. The judge agreed and granted a divorce. Wangari Maathai lost her family and job.
She noticed women walking for firewood and began planting trees. The government arrested and beat her while shutting her office. The pressure to quit was massive.
Instead, Maathai trained 30,000 women to plant 51 million trees in Kenya. In 2004, she became the first African woman to win the Nobel Peace Prize. A strong mind is impossible to control.
@Charlygotyou My ex-husband and I went to therapy one time. At the end of the session she said “I only recommend divorce for abuse, and serial cheaters.” She looked at my husband and said “you’re both of those things,” and then told me to divorce him.
Tigoni police station, you are holding a young lady who is a rape victim! You have colluded with her perpetrator to deny her justice! Her young son is outside your police station in the cold!
What kind of inhumane behavior is that?
Worse still, you are refusing to issue her aunt, the only close relative who had given her shelter at the time of arrest with an O.B number. That level of impunity MUST end.
Her aunt has called me to try plead with you but you have an insolent male officer on duty who chose to hang up demanding that they come tomorrow. They are not leaving the station UNTIL you process and or release the victim by the book!
You want to pretend tomorrow that SHE was never at that station? We already know what you are capable of when Kenyans look the other way even for a minute!!
I am personally taking up the matter and will ensure the OCS and the complicit officers are prosecuted.
OCS Christine & your officers! We shall see where that impunity hides in the face of the law!!

In 2013, when the government sought to silence Shackles of Doom, a bold play by Cleophas Malala performed by Butere Girls, I took a stand. I filed Petition No. 192 of 2013, and the High Court, in a decisive ruling by Justice David Majanja, affirmed that students have the right to speak, to challenges, and to create. The ban was struck down.
Now, over a decade later, Echoes of War by the same Butere girls, faces similar resistance at the national level. This is not just about one play, it’s about defending the very right to free expression in our education system.
The executive must understand that our Constitution guarantees freedom of thought and expression and is not guaranteed by permission. This isn’t a matter of opinion, it’s the law.
The classroom is not a cage. Our stages must remain free.
The 2013 ruling stands as a reminder that no government can silence the voices of the youth and its citizens.
We will not stand by while those in power attempt to stifle creativity, expression and the right to challenge the status quo.
Let them speak, create and inspire without fear of retribution!
