Manipur:
Young Kuki's response to the RNSOM Press Release dated June 10, 2024

✍️In response to the recent press statement by RNSOM, the Young Kuki expressed surprise at RNSOM for objecting to the shutdown called by the Kuki body along NH-37, considering the Rongmei's involvement in Tribal Solidarity March on May 3, 2023.

✍️The Kukis also respected UNC's 130-day Economic Blockade from Nov. 1, 2016, to March 19, 2017, despite its impact on their economy.

✍️They also highlight the historical presence of Kukis in the region by mentioning the first MLA from Tamei was a Kuki man Mr. D.Kipgen in 1967.

✍️Looking at the historical accounts, many Rongmei villages were at one point in history occupied by the Kukis.

@HMOIndia Reimpose AFSPA in Imphal Valley. Separation from this community is a necessity for the Kuki-Zo people.
@NIA_India These are case worth for you.

Hello @ukhrultimes, I saw you covered RNSO's Press Release opposing the imposition of economic blockade on NH-37. Can you also cover this response from Young Kuki to RNSO, or do you deem Kukis undeserving of your news coverage?

#AllEyesOnJiribam Manipur police consistently prioritize Meitei interests, deploying forces to Jiribam to aid Arambai Tenggol and MPLA. Last year, they targeted Kuki-Zo tribal villages in Kangvai, Sugnu, Moreh, and Khamenlok. @87bn_crpf @Spearcorps @dhruv_rathee @hrw @adgpi

The meitei police who said to be CM N. Biren singh's special protection are found destroying household properties, looting money in Sinam Kuki village. Will these goons restore peace in the state. Last year, they were also looting Church tithe in moreh. @LiveLawIndia @UN_HRC

Mr. 𝐂𝐑𝐈𝐌𝐄 𝐌𝐈𝐍𝐈𝐒𝐓𝐄𝐑 #NBirenSingh has to clarify who do he refers to as innocent, since all of his alleged innocent armed #Militants have been directly involved in his #GenocidalCampaign against the ethnic #Kuki_ZoTribals since May 3, 2023!‼️✊

The @NIA_India must sanctify the Forces of #ManipurGovernment which has already been desecrated by the fascist CM #NBirenSingh with his patronized bunch of Goons & Thugs, Rapists & Criminals, Militants & Terrorists, while attempting to succeed in his #EthnicCleansing Campaign against the ethnic #Kuki_Zo Tribals in the State!🆘

Highly condemnable. When will Manipur see peace? The future of old and young are all at stake in this strife torn state. Why is it taking so long for peace to return to Manipur is a big question.
