On June 6, members of DPAA’s Investigation Team conducted an underwater investigation in Vietnam, using an autonomous underwater vehicle and divers to collect evidence and survey the site.
DPAA will disinter 49 Unknowns, across nine @usabmc cemeteries throughout Europe this summer. The team will ensure our fallen heroes are honored with the utmost dignity, respect, and care.

The 26 Europe-Mediterranean Disinterment Team disinterred 4 Unknowns from the Florence American Cemetery in Italy Via Cassia, June 17. The remains will be carefully transferred to the laboratory in Offutt AFB for further analyses and potential identification.
