Department of Government Efficiency

The people voted for major reform.

[Department of Government Efficiency @DOGE]

The work continues. 🇺🇸

[Social Security @SocialSecurity]

Rooting out fraud starts with accurate records.

Under @POTUS leadership, SSA has corrected nearly 15% of active SSNs, the most comprehensive SSN record clean-up in agency history:
✅ 17M missing dates of death added
✅ 25M records with missing citizenship info updated
🔄 8.5M inaccurate citizenship records being corrected

Be honest, we know you guys miss us…😏🥰

“In about a year and a half, the federal workforce shrank by more than a tenth, while targeted grants and contracts declined as well. The government kept functioning much as before. One might call that a success.”

[Judge Glock @judgeglock]

DOGE worked. Most importantly, the civil service is 12% smaller than it was in Jan 2025.

In the Fall @CityJournal, I show they were not replaced by contractors, the biggest cuts were to middle managers, and the predictions of disaster were proven false. https://t.co/heja4NTRbh

Ed is a national treasure 🇺🇸🏀⚾️

"I got the nickname Big Balls from my dad," he said.

[Fox News Politics @foxnewspolitics]

Edward “Big Balls” Coristine, the former DOGE engineer, is now helping build the Trump administration’s new digital front door to the federal government.

Coristine told Fox News Digital that https://t.co/Hdq8KMPZkP is designed to give Americans one place to find government information and, eventually, complete services now spread across thousands of federal websites.

He also detailed plans to make first-time passport applications fully digital, reflected on his time at DOGE and spoke about the origin of the nickname that put him in the national spotlight.

@ABC Even this alone makes @DOGE worth it

[Department of Government Efficiency @DOGE]

This is the way. @SecScottBessent

[Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent @SecScottBessent]

Treasury has delivered on a key promise of @POTUS' mandate to stop improper payments and fraud before money leaves the Treasury and strengthen the integrity of the federal payment system. Together with the @VP’s Task Force to Eliminate Fraud, this new safeguard addresses a longstanding vulnerability and helps ensure every dollar the federal government spends reaches its intended recipient. Treasury will continue efforts to modernize the federal payment system, strengthen safeguards against fraud and improper payments, and protect taxpayer dollars.

EXCLUSIVE:

The share of successful National Science Foundation grants containing DEI language has plummeted to its lowest point in more than 20 years, highlighting the success of the Trump administration’s crackdown on the woke agenda, according to data obtained exclusively by @aaronsibarium.

[Department of Government Efficiency @DOGE]

“Far and away the best prize that life offers is the chance to work hard at work worth doing.”

While the formal mission of DOGE has come to an end, the mission to eliminate waste, fraud, and abuse will continue. Good stewardship of taxpayer dollars and accountable government are not temporary initiatives. We hope those principles endure long into America’s next 250 years.

It has been our greatest honor to serve the American people. Happy 4th! 🇺🇸

We are certain that all of the “financial auditors” who spent the last year scrutinizing every penny of our *actual* savings and cost avoidances will have no problem applying the same rigorous standard to your achievements. We look forward to your office sharing those findings with the public in the near term.

[Mayor Zohran Kwame Mamdani @NYCMayor]

In January, our administration inherited a $12 billion budget deficit — a fiscal crisis greater than the Great Recession.

Today I am proud to announce that our balanced budget has cleared the final step and passed the New York City Council.

We balanced the budget by taxing the rich and making government more efficient. We did not balance this budget on the backs of working people, and we never will.

Every year that follows will build on these principles: Honest budgeting. Fiscal discipline. Transparent government. And an unwavering belief that working people deserve a government that delivers for them every day.

[Department of Government Efficiency @DOGE]

Just a single example of some of the egregious USAID spend we audited. And, to add insult to injury, @nayibbukele doesn’t even want it!

[Department of Government Efficiency @DOGE]

Contracts Update!

Over the last 5 days, agencies terminated 163 wasteful contracts with a ceiling value of $1.9B and savings of $647M, including, a $35M USAID contract to “acquire contractor support to establish and manage a flexible, quick response mechanism supporting activities that will support democracy and stability in El Salvador”, a $280k DOI contract for “horse mounted patrol groom services”, a $102k DOT contract for an “assessment specialist academics provost office”, a $179k State Dept. contract for “customized English language training to the US embassy in Yerevan, Armenia”, and a $25k DOI contract to “provide facilitation, collaborative problem solving services”.

[Kari Lake @KariLake]

What Ro Khanna did — blaming @elonmusk for the deaths of hundreds of thousands of children — was ludicrous, slanderous, & defamatory.

I worked with the @DOGE team. All they wanted was basic accountability: show us the ACTUAL recipients of the aid. USAID refused.

The agency may have had a noble mission, but it had become an instrument of international destruction.

Moving the funds to @SecRubio at State was the right call.

[Department of Government Efficiency @DOGE]

Good question.

[Mike Benz @MikeBenzCyber]

More riddles for @RoKhanna. The President of El Salvador came to the same conclusion as DOGE and celebrated the shutdown of USAID. Are you accusing the President who reduced his country’s murder rate by 95% of supporting the murder of children?

[Department of Government Efficiency @DOGE]

@RoKhanna is always about partisan politics masquerading as analysis. Fortunately, facts prevail.

[DOGE State @DOGE_STATE]

Except that they didn’t and you know it. Those fake Soros-funded studies assumed USAID’s life-saving programs were totally defunded. That was a total and disgusting lie. As @SecRubio said, the foreign assistance review preserved life-saving work while cutting waste and realigning development and governance programs to America First interests.

Since then, the @StateDept has totally rebuilt our lifesaving aid portfolio, investing billions into more efficient and accountable aid that saves lives without the terrorist diversion and NGO theft Biden allowed:

- Launched the America First Global Health Strategy, bypassing the NGO industrial complex to sign 32 bilateral health compacts with largely African countries, representing more than $20 billion in U.S. and partner co-investment (largest ever mobilization of African domestic resources for health)
- Our work with UNOCHA has, by the UN’s own figures (not an org that loved us), supported lifesaving aid for nearly 40 million de-duplicated real people this year alone ($3.8 billion) and made humanitarian aid more than twice as efficient at saving lives per dollar
- We provided 3 million people with the two-dose regimen for U.S. company Gilead Sciences’ twice yearly HIV prevention drug Lenacapavir
- We provided 60 million people with protection from malaria via SC Johnson’s innovative Guardian spatial repellant product
- We recently provided $1 billion to support the World Food Programme and UNICEF’s lifesaving work, with new accountability reforms
- Provided $370 million and counting to combatting Ebola in the Congo (largest county by far, see recent G7 statement)
- Mounted a widely lauded response to category 5 Hurricane Melissa in the Caribbean last year
- Pledged $4.6 billion to the global fund to fight HIV, partnering with them to lower PEPFAR’s supply chain overhead by 3x and drive country self reliance
… and so much more all publicly available …

Why post old fake studies and not have a real conversation? Because it doesn’t serve your redistributive aims?

[Department of Government Efficiency @DOGE]

Can confirm. 🇺🇸

[ALX (x/acc) 🎃🇺🇸 @alx]

This is the real reason they’re mad at Elon Musk and DOGE for shutting down USAID.

“COGE” hard at work! 🤡

“Mamdani pledged on the campaign trail to ‘cure procurement’ and bring DOGE-style audits to wasteful agency contracts, specifically focusing on the bloated DOE, which is set for a record $43 billion budget…But five months into Mamdani’s admin, the DOE has yet to audit a single contract and education officials acknowledged during the hearing that procurement reforms remain in ‘preliminary stages’ with no timeline for implementation.”

2. Stay far away from the Garden for the next few weeks; we’ll buy you all the @Mets tickets your commie heart desires.

I'm pleased to invite @Wemby to our second Commission on Government Efficiency hearing on Wednesday June 10th 5-8pm, where we'll be asking the public for their thoughts on how government can run better. Would love to have you there for the whole time!
