MESSAGE FROM TINA PETERS:

"Thank you from the bottom of my heart to everyone who kept me in their thoughts and sent prayers yesterday. This is the second year that I have spent Thanksgiving in prison.

This time of year is always heavy for me, coming directly on the heels of Remington's birthday. Being in prison, I am constantly reminded of all the blessings that we so often take for granted. So many of these women do not have families outside of here, and something as simple as the freedom to wake up and make coffee at home in my own kitchen seems monumental after 14 months in here.

Remember all of those who serve our country in uniform who were not home with their families yesterday. Pray for the families of the two National Guard members who were involved in the shooting. One will never have another holiday with their daughter. May God see that the second gets to keep their son.

Even when life challenges us and tragedy strikes, may we always remain grateful for the countless blessings we have each day.

I am grateful for all those who continue to fight for our country, for the American People, and for me as I continue to fight for all of you.
