@kryptonstardust I think its like one of those addict and supplier relationships, the supplier also acting as a pseudo therapist for somebody whos life crumbled to dust after a traumatising situation
I hope all of Sinclairs interactions end up being one of them trying to be nice and the other getting passive aggressive with the one in control then they argue with each other and the person they were talking to just does this
@tunmise7j Caitlyn was an enabler for somebody who had nobody to turn to, unbeknownst to her she validated his line of thinking as he continued his maddening spiral. Shes no different from someone peddling drugs to an addict because she felt bad(her brother). BUT that doesnt make her bad
Caityln and Matts relationship was blatantly meant to be a mirror of matt having that weird mother thing with lovers, and caitlyn having the same but with her brother, both were muted
@IconKing63256@DFoundingTitan I dont expect people to pick up on stuff like him almost getting in line with everyone else, showing how humble he is. The idea that he continued acting to honor his late mother. Its a lot to pick up on instantly
@AHeartbreakSky I was hoping the movie would end after seeing caitlyn look around scared, seeing him do that bow as the homeless man wouldve been such an interesting end
with OBJECTIVELY less fair opinions being given on it due to the very very real situations it takes from, Jared leto is a rapist, Matt wasnt, till he already descended after killing his best friend
I dont expect people to view the film with fair eyes as i reckon many have already settled on the idea that matt was evil prior to the incident, that his rape means nothing as he initially consented to it(?) Im foreseeing this film to be taken in a similar light to obsession
