What do you do when you work so hard and there’s “no result”?
Let’s talk about it the way we broke it down on the space.
First of all, there is always a result.
It just might not be the result you expected.
A result can be good.
A result can be bad.
A result can even be good for one person and bad for another, depending on what they’re looking for.
Some people aren’t even chasing success yet.
They’re chasing experience, lessons, exposure, understanding.
So even a “bad” outcome is still a win for them.
But the real problem for many people is this:
A lot of us are doing things we’re not supposed to be doing.
Not because we’re lazy, but because we’re simply copying people.
Someone succeeds in something and suddenly we assume:
“If it worked for them, it must work for me.”
But it doesn’t always work like that.
If you don’t have the skill for something, no amount of copying will save you.
And even if you do have the skill, there’s more to success than just “being good” at something.
You might know how to
paint…
sing…
dance…
create…
build…
But if you don’t know how to market yourself, it won’t go far.
And that’s why collaboration matters.
If you’re good at producing, partner with someone who’s good at marketing.
Let them handle the visibility while you handle the craft.
Two strengths combined > one person struggling alone.
Because hard work alone doesn’t guarantee anything.
Hard work in the wrong direction = frustration.
Hard work in the wrong environment = stagnation.
Hard work without the right people around you = burnout.
Sometimes the problem isn’t your effort, it’s your strategy, your timing, your positioning, or your alignment.
So when things “aren’t working,” the answer isn’t to beat yourself up.
The answer is simple:
• Go back to the drawing board.
• Check what’s not aligning.
• Study the people who have made it.
• Ask questions.
• Get feedback.
• Re-strategize.
• Get help where you’re weak.
Because success isn’t only about doing the work.
It’s about doing the right work, in the right way, with the right people.
Also, pray 🙏
May we have good results in all we do 🤲
