@OSAMUSPIRIT why wake up homesick when you could have someone stirring next to you ?

[𝐂𝐇𝐔𝐔𝐘𝐀 𝐍𝐀𝐊𝐀𝐇𝐀𝐑𝐀 @DOOMEDD0UBLE]

he ‘ s drunk , more than normally so , as he falls down on his couch — tears spilling from his eyes . pulling his coat over himself he leads the sake bottle to his lips , wishing more for @FATEDD0UBLE ‘ s to be there to meet them .

[𝐂𝐇𝐔𝐔𝐘𝐀 𝐍𝐀𝐊𝐀𝐇𝐀𝐑𝐀 @DOOMEDD0UBLE]

him in front of the stall , checking out the catch of the day — the scent alone is heavenly .

“ yo — check out those crab legs . “

— massive enough to take dazai ‘ s mind away from everything else for a while , hopefully .

[𝐂𝐇𝐔𝐔𝐘𝐀 𝐍𝐀𝐊𝐀𝐇𝐀𝐑𝐀 @DOOMEDD0UBLE]

chuuya tsks despite grinning even brighter — he is well aware that he alone holds the power to bring a flush to the cheeks of osamu dazai . he ‘ s seen others try : mori , kouyou , even hirotsu after a drink or five and all have

[𝐂𝐇𝐔𝐔𝐘𝐀 𝐍𝐀𝐊𝐀𝐇𝐀𝐑𝐀 @DOOMEDD0UBLE]

fallen short . for some reason it does something funny to his chest — something pride alone cannot explain .

“ me ? dirty ? did you even change those bandages this morning , you filthy mackerel ? “

snickering , he sides up next to

[𝐂𝐇𝐔𝐔𝐘𝐀 𝐍𝐀𝐊𝐀𝐇𝐀𝐑𝐀 @DOOMEDD0UBLE]

“ let ‘ s move on — i ‘ m starving . “

the stall is already within eyesight , located just by the oceanside further down the path . it ‘ s a convenient distance from the towers and hence has been his go — to for the past few years .

[𝐂𝐇𝐔𝐔𝐘𝐀 𝐍𝐀𝐊𝐀𝐇𝐀𝐑𝐀 @DOOMEDD0UBLE]

“ i ‘ m aware . “

the mafioso rolls his eyes , yet the smirk remains as he narrows his eyes .

“ guess you ‘ ll have to find another way to make it up to me . “

his expression makes it blatantly clear what he ‘ s hinting at .

[𝐂𝐇𝐔𝐔𝐘𝐀 𝐍𝐀𝐊𝐀𝐇𝐀𝐑𝐀 @DOOMEDD0UBLE]

before having them sneak in under the overcoat to land on his hips .

“ — or better yet , stop thinking so goddamn much and realize you ‘ re fucking stuck with me , this time . “

[𝐂𝐇𝐔𝐔𝐘𝐀 𝐍𝐀𝐊𝐀𝐇𝐀𝐑𝐀 @DOOMEDD0UBLE]

reddened lips stretch into his signature crooked smirk as azure eyes twinkle up at the other .

“ yeah ? start doing the dishes and maybe i won ‘ t . “

chuuya snickers before letting go , running his hands down his partner ‘ s chest

⤵︎︎︎

[𝐂𝐇𝐔𝐔𝐘𝐀 𝐍𝐀𝐊𝐀𝐇𝐀𝐑𝐀 @DOOMEDD0UBLE]

he offers his fiancé a crooked grin in response .

“ don ‘ t get ahead of yourself , dumbass , we ‘ re not married yet — don ‘ t think i ‘ ll let you skip out on the real deal . besides , ‘ needy ‘ is fucking rich coming from you . “

[𝐂𝐇𝐔𝐔𝐘𝐀 𝐍𝐀𝐊𝐀𝐇𝐀𝐑𝐀 @DOOMEDD0UBLE]

kissing back with all the passion he has been holding back himself ever since entering work , chuuya closes his eyes — if dazai thought it was easy for him to keep up appearances , this should prove otherwise . breaking for air ,

⤵︎︎︎

[𝐂𝐇𝐔𝐔𝐘𝐀 𝐍𝐀𝐊𝐀𝐇𝐀𝐑𝐀 @DOOMEDD0UBLE]

share of the rent you can stop overthinking so fucking much and give me a real kiss before i ‘ ve got to deal with your stinky crab breath . “

— which he secretly likes because it ‘ s just so very much 𝒅𝒂𝒛𝒂𝒊 .

[𝐂𝐇𝐔𝐔𝐘𝐀 𝐍𝐀𝐊𝐀𝐇𝐀𝐑𝐀 @DOOMEDD0UBLE]

snickering against the other ‘ s lips , chuuya feels himself relax again .

“ kinda think that ‘ s how marriage works ? fuck if i know . “

stopping up he turns dazai around and wraps his arms around his neck .

“ for your first

⤵︎︎︎

[𝐂𝐇𝐔𝐔𝐘𝐀 𝐍𝐀𝐊𝐀𝐇𝐀𝐑𝐀 @DOOMEDD0UBLE]

in waking up and realizing that he ‘ s still there . noticing the fidgeting , chuuya frowns before stretching up to kiss the corner of his fiancé ‘ s lips .

“ relax . we ‘ re not in the tower anymore . “

[𝐂𝐇𝐔𝐔𝐘𝐀 𝐍𝐀𝐊𝐀𝐇𝐀𝐑𝐀 @DOOMEDD0UBLE]

“ i ‘ d offer to teach you but i have seen you try . besides , isn ‘ t it technically your home ? do you even have your own place still ? “

not that he ‘ s complaining , despite calling dazai out for being clingy there is a relief

⤵︎︎︎

[𝐂𝐇𝐔𝐔𝐘𝐀 𝐍𝐀𝐊𝐀𝐇𝐀𝐑𝐀 @DOOMEDD0UBLE]

now is damage control .

“ says the guy who lives on fucking canned crab and air unless i cook for him . “

taking a right , he guides them towards the shore .

“ i like oysters and i can afford them , what ‘ s the harm ? “

[𝐂𝐇𝐔𝐔𝐘𝐀 𝐍𝐀𝐊𝐀𝐇𝐀𝐑𝐀 @DOOMEDD0UBLE]

chewing on his lip , chuuya curses the entire situation inwardly as he can tell how the mood has shifted but despite feeling guilty for having said something , he knows it ‘ s for the best to nip it in the bud . all he can do

⤵︎︎︎

[𝐂𝐇𝐔𝐔𝐘𝐀 𝐍𝐀𝐊𝐀𝐇𝐀𝐑𝐀 @DOOMEDD0UBLE]

returning to his lips , he gives the taller man a playful shove .

“ — and you were right , i am getting those oysters . “

[𝐂𝐇𝐔𝐔𝐘𝐀 𝐍𝐀𝐊𝐀𝐇𝐀𝐑𝐀 @DOOMEDD0UBLE]

“ it ‘ s fine , we ‘ re good now — no one will be monitoring this far off , anyway . “

he sighs , adjusting his hair as he once more takes the lead .

“ i know it sucks but we need to play it safe , you got me ? “

smile
