Over Chicago’s Labor Day weekend, multiple teenagers were shot — including kids as young as 14 years old.

Ages 14, 15, 16 and 17.

Some were left critically wounded.

These kids should be getting adjusted to new classes, teachers and another school year — not being rushed to hospitals with gunshot wounds.

Forget the political talking points about whether crime is “up” or “down.”

Chicago cannot become so numb to violence that teenagers being shot over a holiday weekend becomes just another statistic.

That’s NOT what he said.

He was talking about the U.S. Steel Building—and he specifically emphasized that. The building was creaking, they thought it was coming down, and two firefighters grabbed him and got him out of there.

Not the Twin Towers. Not the rubble.

The law took effect July 1, 2024.

1⃣ Carney erred rejecting the deal for political reasons.
2⃣ If Carney doesn’t get back to the table within a few months, Canada will experience a deep recession & perhaps a depression.
3⃣ Retaliatory tariffs are dumb & hurt Canadians. Lee is convinced that Doug Ford doesn’t understand this.
4⃣ Those that are cheering on “standing up to Trump” don’t understand the price that will be paid without a deal. Lee likens our fate to that of Argentina.
5⃣ Interprovincial trade barriers cause more harm than tariffs. “More Trumpian than Trump.” Lee believes Carney should threaten to withhold equalization payments to force the premiers to remove them.
