Today is Tempranillo Day, which is also our Ribera del Duero Tasting showcasing Tim Atkin’s Top Selection of 100 wines, accompanied by a selection of affordable options. Guests will experience a talk from both Marketing Director Pablo Baquera Peironcely and @timatkin MW.

Labels matter - especially the colourful ones on the back. They reveal how long a wine has been aged. You may think all our wines are oak-aged but take Cosecha, for example, if labeled Jovén (young), it might have zero oak ageing.
In the 13th century, the first wineries were excavated inside some villas. Wine and vineyards became a fundamental part of the cultural and economic development of Ribera del Duero, production increased, local trade intensified, and exports to the rest of Castile began!
Semana Santa, or Holy Week, is one of the most vibrant celebrations in Spain. In Ribera del Duero, Bajada del Ángel, or the Descent of the Angel, is an integral part of the Easter festivities and is a symbolic representation of the Resurrection of Christ. Happy Easter!
