The responsibility to train and produce the next generation developers is not one I take for granted.
For the better part of a year I have coached and certified young Nigerians home and abroad in UI/UX Design & Full-stack Web Development.
Few things give me as much fulfillment.
You’re not bad at coding, you’re just early.
Struggling to understand code doesn’t mean you’re incapable.
It means you’re learning.
Don’t quit 5 minutes before the breakthrough.
Keep building.

Your first tech job isn’t supposed to be your dream job.
It’s supposed to give you momentum.
You’re there to grow — not be perfect.
Every bug and awkward meeting = progress.
Dream roles come after the reps.
One imperfect job at a time.

You don’t need to win every time.
You just need to keep showing up.
One imperfect project.
One imperfect interview.
One imperfect day at a time.
That’s how you grow.
That’s how you win.

@elmelegey Well said @elmelegey
The CEO is the ultimate accountability owner, and to scale their team and achieve greater growth, they must identify as many accountability owners as possible.
There’s a difference between responsibility and accountability.
5 people can be responsible for a task.
But one person must be accountable.
That’s where most teams fail.
Because when everyone is responsible…
No one really is.

We’re still buzzing from our time at API Conference, 2024.🚀
It was such a pleasure connecting with devs doing amazing things in the tech ecosystem.💫
Thank you to the @apiconflagos team for giving us the honour of sponsoring such an amazing event.
Here’s a recap from our POV.🎥
I had a great time speaking at the Student Google Dev Community Meeting in LASU!
The hall was packed full and absolutely worth my time.
A student (Daniel) won a paper back copy of my book, currently selling for $43.
