Hi #Medtwitter ! I’m excited to be applying to #TripleBoard (Peds, Psych, Child Psych) and #Pediatrics for #Match2024. I’m a huge advocate for ALL children in every capacity! I’m a lover of all things health policy, mentorship, gun violence prevention, and equitable health care.
We have investigated the link between autism and vaccines.
There are numerous scientific studies that have shown there is no link.
We are going to spend tons of unecessary money to fund this type of stuff
This is why its important to have qualified persons with relevant training in positions of leadership.
You need to educate before you have a movement and that’s the biggest problem
People including physicians are under-educated on the health care systems and its inner workings structures.
Had my first TX related OB complication and all I can do is smh…
It should go without saying but lawmakers should NOT be practicing medicine.
Me waiting until a patient essentially bleeds out before an intervention can take place is wildly inappropriate.
I’m in awe of ED doctors especially PEM. Shout out to yall because the way none of the team had time to finish and sign a single note today was veryyyy rough if I do say so myself
✨I’m excited to be one of the speakers at the 2024 inaugural TIME100 Health Leadership Forum in New York City tomorrow, Tuesday, October 22.
After the event, you can catch the highlights on https://t.co/v1AoTlZTKc.✨

When I first came to TX my dream was always to practice medicine on the border.
Started off doing rural med in East TX but today, I just completed my first week as a doc in the Rio Grande Valley.
Here’s to a dream that was never deferred…
#PedsMatch25 applicant update: some programs will be delayed beyond the plan to extend interview invites on 10/10, especially programs affected by the south eastern storms. @APPDconnect
Today is National Physician Suicide Awareness Day.
- More than 400 physicians die by suicide each year in the US.
- Suicide is the leading cause of death among resident physicians.
- Med students are three times more likely to die by suicide than their peers in other fields.
