Young women travelling alone often have men sit next to them to try to talk to them even if other seats are available. This can be quite an unwelcome and uncomfortable experience.

This happened to me a few days ago with an older man who was very drunk. I couldn’t politely leave because I was blocked into the window seat. Putting bags/cases on the seat beside is often done consciously as a deterrent and safety precaution.

Taking photos of strangers on public transport to shame them online is not nice. Where are YOUR manners?
