On National Indigenous Peoples Day, we celebrate the heritage, cultures, contributions & diversity of First Nations, Inuit and Métis Peoples.
This day coincides with the summer solstice, which holds significance for many Indigenous communities as a time of renewal & celebration.

Sts. Peter and Paul CES is the 5th school to participate in the @citymississauga School Streets program, which creates a temporary car-free environment in front of the school during afternoon pick-up to encourage students and families to use active ways to get to and from school.
Come, Holy Spirit, Creator come,
From your bright heavenly throne!
Come, take possession of our souls,
And make them all your own.

We're excited to share that Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Elementary School in Ward 4 is the 5th school in Mississauga to launch School Streets since our first pilot in 2022.
School Streets create a temporary car-free environment during school drop-off and pickup. This helps create a safer, community-friendly space for those walking, cycling and rolling to school.

During May, we continue to pray to our Blessed Mother Mary, our role model of humility, patience, compassion, love and grace.

Sharing a special moment from 12 yrs ago when my son shared what Catholic Education means to him. He reminds us that CE is about faith & becoming the best version of ourselves.
What does Catholic education mean to you and your family?
