Although not the outcome we hoped for, I feel good about the campaign I ran. We have a wonderful Catholic community. I am proud to be a part of it. Thank you for supporting me. Thank you for this opportunity. 🙏🏽

We must continue to create spaces where everyone can thrive as their authentic selves, feel welcomed, respected and supported.
🏳️🌈 Kindness
🏳️🌈 Inclusion
🏳️🌈 Dignity
Having everyone of varying abilities & neurotypes in the same classroom 100% of the time doesn't automatically mean the school is inclusive
Inclusion isn't a place or checklist of accommodations
It's a mindset

Asked why trustees are being restricted from attending conferences while he attended an education forum overseas, Calandra argued the two are not comparable: “The difference is, I’m the minister of the Crown, responsible for a $43 billion ministry." https://t.co/T5jJlcV1jD
Sports gear is now just a tap away! 🏀
The @CityBrampton has partnered with Equip Sport and Canadian Tire Jumpstart Charities to launch self-serve sports equipment lockers at select #Brampton parks and recreation sites, giving residents free access to gear like basketballs, soccer balls and volleyballs, depending on the location.
Whether you’re heading to the court, field or park, this pilot project helps make it easier for more residents to get moving, play close to home and enjoy sports without added barriers.
Use your phone as your all-access pass to:
📲 Download the free Equip Sport app
🔐 Unlock equipment at your nearest location with no credit card or payment required
⚽ Play and return the gear when you’re done

It's time we have a leader with a seat. One who understands young people. One who's been at the grassroots, not the backrooms, and one with the charisma and energy to move us forward.
I'm proud to be part of this campaign.

Thanks for the chat today! Eight boards representing ~40% of schools continue to be under Ministry control in Ontario, and things are only getting worse, while families go without transparency, accountability, and local voice.
This isn't normal and it isn't okay. #onted#onpoli
I delegated @DPCDSBSchools last night in support of flying the Pride flag. Before the meeting even started the police had to called in. In what has to be one of the most disgraceful outcomes for a Catholic Board I've seen in a long time, the motion to fly the Pride flag outside the board office and schools did not even receive a 2nd and so was not voted on. A second motion to allow the indigenous flag to fly every day as requested by our indigenous community received the same disrespectful treatment. TY @breacorbet for being the lone voice in support of students and staff

Strong sense of community at the Brampton Community Safety Advisory Committee Meeting. It’s encouraging to see residents connecting and gaining insight into what’s happening in our community. Join us for our last meeting: August 20, 2026, 7PM at Cassie Campbell Community Centre.
Co-chaired the final Brampton Women’s Advisory Committee Meeting for this term. Thank you @Navjitkaurbrar & @RoweSantos for creating this space to advance women in the municipal landscape. Hoping this committee will be reinstated next term as there’s still work to be done.

Forever grateful for her guidance, her sacrifices and her love.
Missing her deeply.
Honouring her always.
Happy Mother’s Day to mothers, grandmothers, mother figures, and to those remembering someone they love today.
This week, the Putting Student Achievement First Act received Royal Assent.
This legislation will strengthen accountability, improve school board governance, support teachers, and refocus Ontario’s education system on what matters most: student achievement.
As Catholic Education Week comes to a close, thank you to all who help make our schools inclusive, supportive & inspiring places for students to learn and grow. This week reminded us that hope, kindness, and community matter now more than ever. ✝️

Sharing a special moment from 12 yrs ago when my son shared what Catholic Education means to him. He reminds us that CE is about faith & becoming the best version of ourselves.
What does Catholic education mean to you and your family?
