★★★★★ I loved The Two Towers and Return of the King when they first came out. My son, like me, loves the Lord of the Rings movies. So I purchased https://t.co/6Jb1LCBSIh

Our hearts are heavy, yet rejoicing, as we share the news that our beloved pastor and teacher John MacArthur has entered into the presence of the Savior. This evening, his faith became sight. He faithfully endured until his race was run.

@PlanetFitness just moved in like a mile from my house. Now I have no excuses. Today was day 2. I'm feeling it.

Being June 1, and the start of #PrideMonth, contemplate on this verse. I don't want to be the many, those promoting evil. Yes, we all struggle with sin, but that sin needs to be hated and repented of, not condoned. I pray for everyone celebrating Pride that God will free you.

I think he missed me while I was out today.

Search the battlefield within
Find the strongholds nests of sin
Hit 'em again!

After discussing Isaac Ambrose's The Christian Warrior and talking about how we have to militantly attack sin in our lives, I started vibing to this song on the way home.

Listen Soldiers gather 'round
All the strongholds must be found
Burn them down!

@Lowes and I have a love-hate relationship. They love that I spend money there. I hate the jobs that require me to spend money there.

My wife asked me if I wanted to learn pickleball. I reminded her that she just saw me fall on my face getting up out of a chair at @WoodridgeWCC volleyball night! She agreed that pickleball may not be for me.

"You stand in need of infinite mercy to wash away your many foul offenses, and you will not let one drop of mercy fall on your brother to forgive some trifling wrong against you?" -Isaac Ambrose, The Christian Warrior

[David Horein @DPH316]

From today's reading in The Christian Warrior by Isaac Ambrose. Our thought-life is so important. We often make excuses that we cannot control what pops in our heads, but we can decide what we allow ourselves to focus on, to ruminate on. We must put out improper thoughts.
