His Syrianness did not save him… they called him Druze.” These are the words of the daughter of Munir Al-Rajma (منير الرجمة), filmed during one of the many field executions that took place on the outskirts of Suweyda. The killings occurred amid the Syrian transitional government’s bloody July offensive, carried out under the guise of a “security operation” to restore order but in reality aimed at subjugating the Druze.
