The Festival of Whales is a 54 year old tradition, founded by a pure love for seeing the gray whales return to the waters off Dana Point and a desire to share that magic.

Dana Wharf’s founder, Don Hansen, also started @DPWhaleFest, which has become the world’s longest-running whale festival!
His daughter, Donna Kalez, is now COO of Dana Wharf and one of the driving forces behind Dana Point becoming the first Whale Heritage Area in the Americas.
Musical artists Sheena Easton and Taylor Dayne will headline the Festival of Whales Foundation’s inaugural Concerts on the Cliff at the Laguna Cliffs Marriott Resort and Spa on March 4.
