@Jackson_Muse As a Bengals fan, I agree. His two plays against the Bengals that year (INT and punch fumble on Chase Brown) could very well be the difference between 0-2 vs 2-0 against the Bengals that year. Very clutch and timely plays he made
@JoeGoodberry It’s still a thing! And we know some of it also is in Joey B, the numbers and all show it with his slow starts and need for more feel of the game. Hopefully another round of preseason games this year will help him get that feel especially pass rush!
@JamesRapien B! Really wished they picked better available prospects in the 3rd and 4th, they were both clearly reaches and that brings grade down considering where they were chosen
@JoeGoodberry Some things never change, this franchise will never be on the same playing field as the top tier, consistent franchises primarily because of their draft process
@NFLDraftBites You are not the Giants owner/GM/coach, he has a right to say what he wants about their pick and strategy. He is still focused on getting healthy and being the best WR he can be, relax and do your job!
@flamcheesy I agree with you, but here is what it will come down to yet again. There will be a handful of games the defense will be asked to finish. We need someone to step up and close them out, and that will be the difference between a playoff season vs not
@BengalsTalkSI Enjoyed your talk on drafting him with Jake yesterday. I think impact for prospects in different positions is hard to compare, but think about how many games the past 2-3 years the Bengals were playing with a lead and the offense/defense had to come up with one drive/stop to win
@LndsPatterson I don't love the idea, but if Reese/Bailey/Bain Jr/Downs/Styles are all gone, they should consider trading down or getting Delane. CB is a strength but getting a proven talent will still be able to come in and make an impact right away
@Fvlmer and this is the right approach, no matter what they say, do NOT have expectations they will until the GM/Ownership changes. Don't have expectations, and you won't feel disappointed about this franchise. They are who they always are
@Andrew_Russell7 They are playing a dangerous game yet again, season will come down to 3-4 games where defense will be asked to close out a game and because of what we have seen the last 2-3 years, I wouldn't bet we see anything different
