@adicarter I suppose trees do have a finite lifespan, but it's definitely weird-looking.
I was helping one of the Graves sheep get the juiciest nettles from a bit she couldn't quite reach through the fence the other day! They don't look particularly underfed, that's for sure!
@adicarter Oh god! That's a life lesson and no mistake. Our olden-days one died in dramatic style when it sprayed molten cheese across the room as it reached its climax. The plates were mainly composed of decades-old blackened grease by that point though, so it didn't owe us anything.
@adicarter I have to say, while our newish Breville is generally fine, it doesn't create a quality separation between the triangles, which means we have to use a pair of scissors to divide them. Our old one virtually popped them out as individual twins without any additional surgery.
@adicarter Sadly ours only manage about 1 mile/100m respectively these days, but they still love going up there, even if Ebby ends up being carried in her special hound satchel for most of the way.
@adicarter It's my favourite! It used to feel quite a way away from us, but I realised that I can actually walk there in almost exactly half an hour - it's a big uphill, but good exercise.
@adicarter@TheBlackDog Bloody marvellous! Looking at these delectable images does make me miss eggs - I'm only glad that baked beans are, and always will be, as vegan as kale or quinoa - I'll never be robbed of beans on toast. 😊
#GardeningTwitter Why is my Hawthorn doing this?! I planted bare root plants last winter - they began to grow really vigorously for a couple of months last spring, then the leaves began to curl, an odd white powder appeared, and they stopped growing. And it's happening again! ☹️
