There should be NO capping on any data plan marketed as “unlimited.”
“Unlimited” is not a marketing slogan; it is a clear promise. People choose such plans for remote work, streaming, business operations, and constant connectivity. Capping or throttling after a hidden GB limit defeats the very reason customers pay for it.
Reducing users to unusable speeds or small daily gb while still calling the plan “unlimited” is misrepresentation and a deceptive practice.
If a network cannot sustainably offer unlimited data, it should stop using the word and clearly state its limits upfront.
Consumers deserve honesty.
I will be submitting a formal petition on this matter.
@NgComCommission must act.

NCC must urgently review the SIM recycling framework and enforce a strict quarantine and delinking process across all networks.
In a digital economy where a phone number is tied to your bank and your identity, this is a risk Nigeria cannot ignore.

As a lawyer, one of the most honest pieces of advice I can give is this: avoid unnecessary disputes. Litigation is not a badge of honour.
Saying ‘I will call my lawyer’ is not a solution, it is the beginning of a long, expensive and emotionally draining process.
Business Name vs Company (Ltd):
A Business Name is simple and cheap, but you carry all the risk.
A Company has legal personality and limits your personal liability.
Registration choice affects protection.

Running a business in Nigeria? Here are 5 reasons you must register it
1️⃣ Legal Compliance – Operating unregistered is an offence under CAMA 2020. Protect yourself from prosecution.
2️⃣ Legal Identity – Registration gives your business a recognized legal status and allows you to enforce contracts.
3️⃣ Banking & Finance – Open corporate accounts, access loans, and separate personal from business funds.
4️⃣ Credibility & Trust – Customers, partners, and investors take a registered business seriously.
5️⃣ Avoid Criminal Charges - Registration removes your business from illegal operation and protects you from prosecution.

Under the Companies and Allied Matters Act (CAMA) 2020, carrying on or advertising a business in Nigeria under an unregistered name is an offence.
it carries criminal consequences, including prosecution and statutory penalties.

Policing by social media outrage instead of formal complaints undermines due process.
No victim has reported rape or sexual assault, yet @PoliceNG are planning to deploy public funds for clout management.
The Police should focus scarce resources on reported crimes and public safety, not social media allegations.
Law enforcement is not a PR agency. If there is an offence, let a complainant come forward and follow the law. Anything else is performative policing.

This is an act of terrorism against a sovereign state. You cannot arrest a sitting president or seize and trade in a country’s oil resources under the guise of law enforcement. Trump is clearly overreaching, moving from drug-related allegations to effectively stealing a nation’s resources and undermining its government.
He once claimed he wanted to “balance the world,” yet these actions show nothing but bullying on a global scale. Even Putin, for all his excesses, did not go this far without facing heavy international sanctions. This sets a dangerous precedent for international law and global order.

Every right-thinking nation should by now be calling for the release of Venezuela’s President and a strict return to the rule of law.
Unilateral military arrests of sitting heads of state, outside UN authorization or lawful extradition processes, set a dangerous precedent.
#Venezuela #trump #maduro #UnitedNations
If a powerful state can militarily arrest another country’s President today, tomorrow it could be China or Russia doing the same elsewhere.
This action deepens Venezuela’s instability, fuels chaos, and undermines any claim of international order.
A Trump-led America choosing power over law endangers the global order it once claimed to defend.
#Venezuela #Trump #maduro
The U.S. military arrest of Venezuela’s sitting President and his removal for trial is a violation of international law.
Under the UN Charter, no state may use force against another’s sovereignty except in self-defence or with UN authorisation.
