When I see an old, mighty oak, I often ask to be given some of its strength, to make me more resistant.
This guy gave me some wisdom instead:
let your old, useless branches, dry out and fall in the wind, so you may grow new, stronger ones.
Thank you wise tree 🙏
LORD, my Father, Father of my fathers, Father of my children, and of their children, Father of all things, help us not deny, forget, or forfeit our sonship, so we always walk with You, towards You, in You. And if one of us gets lost, as I was, please hail them back to You, as You called me back, merciful King of kings.
For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever.
I came here, not to worship stones or bones, but to carry and say a prayer, hoping that each of my steps would make it louder, clearer, stronger.
It was about a hundred names long, plus the forgotten ones, and also mine.
