Several years back, I fought with one “egbon” like that...He offended me by saying “Busayo, see ehn, just go and focus your energy on teaching because that’s your calling”....That day e be like say the bros stone me! #HelloTwitter
Employers must understand that it's not all issues that are strictly a policy issue. Some staff issues are peculiar and empathy must be prioritized over policy. For example, a blanket policy on maternity leave may be insensitive in 2025. If a staff has a problematic pregnancy or certain medical history, it's only fair to grant them work from home or early leave. Trust me, the business won't die. And yes, it won't be taken advantage of because we know the staff members who have a history of excuses or dishonesty, and the ones who genuinely are committed and require genuine cases of exceptions. Let's stop using policy to replace humanity.
I know what the calendar says today but do not let anyone pressure you into believing that it’s too late to start…Start that book, start that fire, start that course…What you do not start is what you can not finish…Start! Start!! Start!!!
Perhaps the distorted waters that make you uncomfortable at the moment is the handwriting on the wall you need to see, or the little voice you’ve been waiting to hear in order to make the biggest move that your life needs
What you expect, please extend. You expect grace, extend grace. You expect courtesy, extend courtesy. You expect patience, extend patience. Next time you’re about to flip for not receiving certain virtues or values, take a look at the mirror and ask, have I extended same?
You may not be great at everything, but you could be great at something so that if you exit a room at anytime, you will at least be missed for specific value…..

Dear Boss,
It’s a new week and I’m here to inform you that your subordinates and even you are not above mistakes, what matters the most is; do they admit the mistakes, and are they ready to do better? If yes, forgive them and yourself…Have a splendid week

For a person that has no intention of seeing anything through, even the breath from their own nostrils is a hinderance 🙂……Read that again

Don’t be swayed or completely lost by anyone’s promises of support, to the point that you build your projections around promises. Plan with your realities and attainable while smiling through the promises, because they may be too overwhelmed by their own realities…
“Babe, I got you 100%, we will do that business together…Guy, I gat your back, don’t sweat a day about anything”…These words are sweet to hear, but before belle go over sweet you, ensure that the makers of those promises have proven to keep their promises overtime..
But no, doing something about anything is of great value than talking so much about what you could do if you had more..And sometimes, the action that will be valued may not cost you money, it could be listening, or saying the right thing at the needed time..Happy Tuesday 😂
Sometimes, we think that the gestures that make the difference are the ones that come with a red carpet or with a giant saxophone that screams “paranranran” into the ears of someone and the neighbors..
In other words, if you’ve got no prioritized plans of your own, you will always be a tool in executing other people’s prioritized plans…That may also not be a bad thing, as long as you’re happy about it 😉
Getting mad at anyone for taking advantage of your time, energy and resources is expected, but I think that in some cases, if you have plans that are as prioritized as the plans of those you’re mad at, you could actually have a different story to share 🙂
3. Guard your space, choose your worth and value, it will give you peace.
4. Master the skill of saying NO, it’s only a trash can that takes it all in.
5. There are people who remember the bakery when they need bread, no need to be mad, just know how to fit them in or not..
It’s that time of the year when several words on marble will be dropped all around us, it’s okay 😉 just chew the wheat and spit the chaff….Understand what relates to you and how…
I have a couple of things to share myself, you’ll find something of worth in there 👇🏾
1. It is completely okay to desire much more than mediocre, what you desire, you will attract.
2. The most beautiful blessings come at your least “worry worm”moment.
Finally, my 3 point summary are as follows;
1. Let your lawyer read your partnership agreements before you sign them
2. Be clear on expectations and deliverables
3. I’m proud to say I’ve found “the” Co-founder to scale and expand a business idea with! You’ll love it!!!
“Wahala be like razor blade” was what I said when I got off the phone with my friend Ify, after listening keenly to her own version of business partnership gone bad. Then I remembered that I’ve had my own fair share of such experiences…
And sometimes, you just meet the right partner whose values, objectives and personality compliments yours. Brethren when you find such person, hold them tight and be sincere in your dealings with them!
