This morning, the D&D team and Magic's Studio X informed our leadership of our intent to unionize. We love the games we make and the work we do, and unionizing is how we protect that work.

You know I love some drama. Anyway for transparency which is quite important. Last round of raises I got 3% putting me to 102,900 as a narrative game designer. I also got a recent increase to 118,950 due to region under-compensation. Knowing real salaries in game dev is paramount
FWIW, posting my salary actually makes me pretty uncomfortable.
However, I know of at least 7 people who have been able to use the information to negotiate better pay for themselves (two thanked me this weekend!), and giving them that opportunity is worth some discomfort for me.
I grew up not knowing about my Puerto Rican heritage and as an adult I began to learn about my, my father's, and my grandfather's culture. Nothing to me is more beautiful than a proud Puerto Rican.
¡Yo soy soy boricua!
@Em_TeeGee@autumnlilypad This reminds me of what put me into card games in the first place. An obsession that stole so many Friday nights and Saturday mornings from me. The miles traveled to play, the 0/2 drops, the continued mindset that when you walk in that room, you're the best there has ever been.
