Founded in memory of Ebola heroine, Dr Ameyo Stella Adadevoh (DRASA). Our focus: Infection Prevention & Control, Community Health, #AMR and Health Security.
We cannot separate our health from the world around us.
This World Environment Day reminds us that every clean environment is a line of defense against diseases. Through the One Health approach, what happens to our planet, animals, and people is all connected.
When we protect our environment, we protect each other.

Outbreaks often begin in homes and neighborhoods, which is why communities must remain at the center of disease prevention.
Through the SCOPED intervention by Dr. Ameyo Stella Adadevoh (DRASA) Health Trust, in collaboration with the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control and Prevention, and state partners, we are strengthening community surveillance through the Community Health Champions model. Everyday, we equip health champions to detect risks early, promote safer practices, and support prevention in communities.
Across three states, stakeholders are now co-creating stronger, community led surveillance practices that shift prevention from reaction to ownership.

In three primary healthcare centres in Ibeju Lekki, Lagos, infection prevention is becoming a daily discipline.
At the centre of this are three nurses, our Health Champions: Fatimoh, Munirat, and Barakat, serving as Infection Prevention and Control focal persons in their facilities.
Through continuous on-the-job mentoring and supervisory support from Dr. Ameyo Stella Adadevoh (DRASA) Health Trust, they are strengthening safe care practices, protecting patients, and mentoring their peers to sustain infection prevention and control in everyday service delivery.
This reflects a key goal, moving healthcare workers from knowledge to sustained practice.

Human, animal, and environmental health are deeply interconnected, especially in the fight against infectious diseases and antimicrobial resistance. The recent Skoll World Forum reinforced this important message.
Dr. Ameyo Stella Adadevoh (DRASA) Health Trust was proud to contribute to this important dialogue alongside global leaders across the One Health ecosystem.
A key takeaway from the session was that while One Health is widely understood in principle, putting it into practice remains a challenge due to siloed systems across sectors and disciplines.
At DRASA, we align with Nigeria's One Health National Action Plan 2.0, which promotes integrated, people-centered approaches to surveillance, preparedness, response, and community participation across human, animal, and environmental health systems.

Did you know that good hand hygiene can reduce the spread of infectious diseases by up to 50%?
At Dr. Ameyo Stella Adadevoh (DRASA) Health Trust, we continue to emphasize simple, practical actions that protect lives and strengthen health security from households to health facilities. Washing hands with soap and clean water at the right times remains one of the most effective ways to prevent infections before they start.
Through people centered engagement and equipping communities and health workers with the right knowledge, we are developing Health Champions who help protect families and strengthen prevention at every level of care.
No one should suffer from preventable infectious diseases. Consistent hygiene practices are a powerful step toward safer communities for everyone.
