@voiceoffcamera@politicalmath By that logic, nothing can ever be improved because there’s a reason it works the way it does. I’m not arguing ballots magically count themselves. I’m saying a system that encourages early voting but delays processing those votes seems backwards.
@voiceoffcamera@politicalmath That explains why it happens, not why it’s a good system. If early voting is being encouraged, it’s fair to question why those ballots often can’t be processed until later.
@voiceoffcamera@politicalmath Smart people vote early, but those votes get counted late’ is such a dumb concept on its face. If voting early is the goal, why are those votes the last ones counted?
@wrcoachtu87@LangmanVince@AdamSchefter And their employees should work for free!!! Fuck billionaire supporters they should suffer too! Down with billionaires!
@AlZeidenfeld@Lanceholt9137@GordonPlutsky If your argument is that the spending worked, then make that argument. Don’t switch to “you’re not allowed to criticize the spending if you want homelessness fixed.” That’s not how accountability works. Every program gets judged on both results and cost.
@hollybRN07@ThisShallPass24@thegolden_eel@k1rallik Coming from the side that turned cities into open air pharmacies, made rent impossible, and taxes people into the ground while acting morally superior is rich. Blue states lecture nonstop while people and companies flee them every year.
