The Adult Parole Authority was excited to host Steven Swisher, co-author of Decision Points. Four master trainers were certified in addition to six train-the-trainers. Decision Points is a cognitive behavioral intervention program that focuses on improving decision-making skills

Our hearts are with the Cokonougher family and staff at Ross Correctional Institution as they mourn the loss of Sergeant William “BC” Cokonougher. Sgt. Cokonougher passed away following a sudden medical emergency while working his shift yesterday.

Staff at Madison Correctional Institution were recognized with spotlight awards after saving an incarcerated person experiencing a mental health crisis. These staff members jumped in to help without hesitation, working together efficiently and with compassion.

Richland Correctional Institution’s “New Chapter Store” helps incarcerated people prepare for release with a clean set of clothing. This initiative is entirely thanks to staff who created, managed, and donated clothing items to the store.
