42mm since sep 1st making good going now. Setting up for maize next spring while broadcasting the last of winter cover crops on in one pass. @VaderstadUK
@HORSCHUK joker proving itself again. 217mm since Jan 1st
103mm since March 1st, on this farm.
Yearly average typically 750mm.
Can’t get a garden fork in the ground, let alone a tine or subsoiler.
@CDFarming Envious. Joker only cults here. Having to sit on hands to work spring ground at any depth, tried topdown this week and down to 3.5k on headlands. Any faster whole machine starts seesawing.
@flawborough_fms Can you calibrate them on a +/- % basis with them Tom, or do you send it off? This is all backwards with numerous K settings, can’t calibrate from farm with assured samples.
Topdown and cover crop in August, 12.5mm Tuesday night and pulled down with spring tine. Tucking into plenty of moisture. Love it when a plan comes together
Spring barley going thorough it’s ugly stage on heavy land, 8.75mm since end of Feb here. Alleged 10mm coming tonight but will believe it when it comes. Manganese going on ready to set eyes on maize planting, soil temps only stabilising around 10 degrees the past 2/3 days.
