The Passing Out Parade (PoP)of the 76th Batch of Indian Revenue Service (Customs & Indirect Taxes) officers was held at National Academy of Customs, Indirect Taxes and Narcotics Palasamundram on 23.05.2026, marking the successful completion of proffessional training by the officer trainees.

Sh. Pankaj Chaudhary, Hon'ble Minister of State for Finance attended the ceremony as Guest of Honour and inspected the parade during the ceremony.

The event was also attended by the Chairman, Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs, along with all Members of CBIC and senior officers of the department reflecting the significance of the occasion for the department and batch entering public service.

✨ముగ్గురు కుమార్తెలు పుట్టడంతో భార్యను విడిచిపెట్టిన భర్త.. ఐతే ఆ ముగ్గురు పిల్లలు ఇప్పుడు 'సరస్వతులు' అయ్యారు..*

ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్‌లోని శృంగవరపుకోట పట్టణంలో శ్రీనివాసకాలనీలో నివసిస్తున్న మాచిట్టి బంగారమ్మకు ముగ్గురు ఆడపిల్లలు. సరస్వతి, రేవతి, పావని.. ముగ్గురు కుమార్తెలు పుట్టడంతో భార్యను విడిచి వెళ్లిపోయాడు భర్త. అయినా భార్య కుంగి పోలేదు. కాయకష్టాన్ని నమ్ముకుంది. భవన నిర్మాణ కార్మికురాలిగా మారింది. వచ్చిన కూలిడబ్బులతో పిల్లలను సాకింది. ప్రభుత్వ పాఠశాలల్లో ముగ్గురు కుమార్తెలను చేర్పించింది.

పాఠశాలల్లో టెన్త్‌ వరకూ చదివిన 2వ కుమార్తె రేవతిని ఆర్థిక ఇబ్బందులతో ఒక దశలో చదువుమాని పించాలని అనుకుంది.టెన్త్‌లో అత్యంత ప్రతిభ చూపిన రేవతికి స్థానిక పుణ్యగిరి విద్యాసంస్థల అధినేత ఎల్‌.సత్యనారాయణ తన కళాశాలలో ఉచితంగా ఇంటర్మీడియట్‌లో ప్రవేశం కల్పించారు.అత్యధిక మార్కులు సాధిస్తే భవిష్యత్‌లో కోరిన చదువుకు తనే ఖర్చు భరిస్తానంటూ భరోసా ఇచ్చారు. రేవతి ఇంటర్మీడియట్‌లో 984 మార్కులు సాధించింది. ఎంసెట్‌లో ర్యాంక్‌ సాధించి గాయత్రి ఇంజినీరింగ్‌ కళాశాలలో సివిల్‌ ఇంజినీరింగ్‌ పూర్తిచేసింది. ఏపీపీఎస్సీ పరీక్షలకు సాధన చేసింది.

2023 ఆగస్టులో పరీక్ష రాసింది. నవంబర్‌లో విడుదలైన ఫలితాల్లో విజయం సాధించింది. రేవతికి ప్రస్తుతం జోన్‌-1 పరిధిలో శ్రీకాకుళం జిల్లా రణస్థలం మండలం ఆర్‌డబ్ల్యూఎస్‌ ఏఈఈగా నియమిస్తూ ప్రభుత్వం నుంచి ఫిబ్రవరి 6వ తేదీ ఉత్తర్వులు అందాయి. ప్రస్తుతం రేవతి అక్క సరస్వతి ఏలూరులో సచివాలయ ఉద్యోగిగా పనిచేస్తుండగా, చెల్లెలు పావని పీహెచ్‌డీ చేస్తోంది. ముగ్గురు అమ్మాయిలు చదువులో రాణించడంతో తల్లి బంగారమ్మ సంతోషపడుతోంది. పిల్లలు సాధిస్తున్న విజయాలతో ఉబ్బితబ్బిబ్బవుతోంది..

On 10.02.2026, Mumbai Customs Zone–III (Airport) recorded a rare seizure of Antique Coins (Gold and Silver Coins). The details are as under:
1. Gold Coin weighing 12.37 grams : East India Company, Bengal Presidency, Gold Mohur, Murshidabad Mint, in the name of Shah Alam II, AH 1202/RY 19.
2. Gold Coin weighing 8.00 grams: Ancient Kushan Empire, Huvishka, Gold Dinar.
3. Silver Coin weighing 11.44 grams : Mughal, Jahangir, Silver Rupee, Zodiac Sign Cancer, Ahmadabad Mint.
